I would say use the dimensions of your tank and then however tall you want it to be and just make a simple one and drill it together. Use a couple pieces in the center for extra support. So I would say get some 2x4s, screws and a drill and go to town. Pick a paint of choice and just make sure the bottom is level. You will be fine. Good thing is if you mess up its cheap to start over :)

Well, its the same as the dimensions of your tank, except you want the stand to be higher of course, maybe 3 foot high?

The base and top will be the measurements of your tank so if that is what your tank is than it should be fine.
