Koi are usually able to reproduce at 3 years of age. Best production is obtained by using breeders that are 4-5 years old.

koi and most carps mature when they are about 1 years of age! if keep in warmer water they can mature earlier! I lived in Vietnam, the water temperature usually around 90 and my koi can lay eggs when they are about 8 months old!

snake, toad, frog hate chives, people in Vietnam usually plant chives around their house to keep them away from their home!
