My beauties, my pride and joy. Peacock first picture and unknown second. ID if you can.

Second picture really looks like that. I don't know how the hell. It's not shiny like other peacocks but it's a rich stronger color, looks like paint. Been with me 6 months both fish.

First is an ob peacock the second is a red empress.

Whatever it is, it's a showstopper and attention getter. I think it may be hybrid.

Second one looks like Copadichromis borleyi. But no way to tell if it's pure.

More of this mutant pretty.

Special bonus: this was a baby frontosa 7 stripe that is takin forever to grow but I love it. Hopefully male. 2.5-3 inch.

Yea, the second pict looks really close to a Copadichromis borleyi. but a pure bred one doesn't have the vertical "striping" that yours has.

Standard disclaimer, I am guessing, I am not an expert.

Pretty fish though for sure!

Yeah, he was sold to me as unidentified peacock hybrid for $30. No purebred fish had ever colored up as much as this guy.
