Very much south..
I don't think the hool will dissolve.

If it is eating and acting normaly, they might let the hook stay in place.

Awesome job, anyway, that Zoodivers team did!

Update time:

Upon discussion with the big guys up top, this shark is doing great and was moved to the main 250,000 gallon Reef display this morning. We'll be keeping a very close eye on him the next few weeks. We do two dives each day in this display. The holding system he was in used the same water as the main display - No need to acclimate!! :naughty:

Sorry the underwater shots are so blue...it's not really that color.

Another update. Here are some current pics. "Hercules" is doing amazing. He's growing, swimming and acting just like a young nurse shark should. Very curious and interactive.

And just a few of the rest of his home - 250,000 gallon Atlantic reef. He shares it with 8 Cownose, 1 Southern stingray, 2 green morays, 2 adult cuda, 1 hystrix puffer, groupers, grunts, snappers, wrasses, angels, triggers, damsels, hamlets, drum, crabs, lobsters, urchins, coral.... well, you get the idea.
