PART DEUX!!! - Epic Overhaul (3D Backgrounds/300g, 250g, 120g tanks)

Since this is a male end of a thread ball valve union, I wanted to just screw on a new union so I could mount a 90 upturned elbow.



I tried putting a new union on it but I did not know that this brand of schedule 80 uses it's own thread pattern that no matter what I added would not thread.



You can see where as tight as I could get it its still not tight and just hangs there. This would drain the sump below operating level so I had to scrap it...




New parts for the new assembly.





The new bulkhead assembly is pretty basic and a lot more compact. Before and after below will save on a lot of space and will accuratly manage water level.

LOL actually been kind of wondering if you are ever going to mount that tire or continue to use it as the work bench......

He's an artist, and what you have to remember is artists have a different concept of time than we do. If he says day, that really means a week. A week is more like a month, a month is actually a year, ect.
