That tank looks amazing podzy.

I'm looking at getting a 180g in the next year, I can understand why you went with 2 canisters versus a sump, I'm still burned out from doing my last sump build lol

Thanks! , I couldn't agree with you more about doing the whole canister thing. I've done sump and lets say i'm all Sumped out lol. I enjoy the quiet Fx6s and just looks overall nicer and leaves me with more room for storage underneath .

Looks great, nice scape. I actually like the looks of the 3ft light, with shadowing/reduced lighting at each end of the tank.

Wow....really nice set up you have there. I love the natural look. I was actually looking at this tank but have kind of leaned towards an acrylic for my first big tank. Any reason why you chose glass instead of acrylic?

Glass is really all that i am used too. I haven't honestly looked into any of the differences between the two. I cant wait for the plants to mature either . Im going to do a CO2 System but I am not to sure how that will work with very little flow in a discus aquarium. Probably not well I would assume.

And Finally the moment I have been waiting for ...... The 3D backround installation ! It was a hell of a time installing it. Fish kept swimming behind it and the it was difficult to move around in the water and snap it together . 3 holes were drilled into it and a stainless steel mesh was used to cover the holes. ENJOY!!!!!14.jpg13.jpg9.jpg1.jpg
