Has anyone tried keeping tilapia with their polys? Obviously we've all fed them off, but has anybody kept them together? Have there been any problems?

Based on experience, if tilapia is kept with endi, laps and congicus etc, high chance it wont survive 15min. If u put them with senegal, dels, palmas species and mokes, u will have higher successful rate, but u may see a badly wounded tilapia.

Depends on the size of the fish in question. My Polys have never messed with fish that were of comparable size. If you try to add talapia fingerlings to a tank of adult polys they might get eaten, but a poly isn't going to make a habit of singling out and harassing a fish that occupies a different niche. Not saying it's never happened, only that when/if it does, it can be considered unusual behavior. Particularly for upperjaws like sens, Del's, etc. Polypterus are one of the most peaceful fish that you will find in the cache of monsters.

What size were your talapia and polys, kohaku? And what species?
