I have a 55 gallon tank with a Flowerhorn, female jaguar, and male texas. The flowerhorn runs the tank and has nice colors but no hump. Anything i can do to speed up the process. Also the jag and flowerhorn have hit it off, anyway to help influence breeding ??

That's a female with alot of trimac in her. Chances are that she won't develope a large hump, or even a minor one. Keep up on water changes, feed live foods (not feeders), like earth/red/black worms, bring the temp up to mid 80's. Is your jag male?

It does not all depend on the finage. Look at say a convict for example. They are easy enough to tell apart by the colored bellies but many females I have seen in the past have very pointed fins.
