sexing polys

You guys had to know this was coming. Im no good at sexing any fish. But if i compare the pic from the sticky to my fish im guessing maybe the del is a male and ornate a female or both females ? Ornate maybe to small to sex

My son is gonna be pissed. He names all the fish when i told him i think the ornate was a girl.... he said "thats it you cant pick out the fish any more"

Your del I would say is definitely a female, and your Ornate I am fairly sure is female to.

Ornate looks male to me, hopefully dr.b will check out the thread. I have 2 female ornates and their anal fin is colorful but slender in shape. Del looks female
