My lapidota is rubbing against ornaments and wood. Also sometime against sand. Not too sure why. Regular water changes. No live food and water parameters are excellent.
Thanks

I hope it's nothing serious, I've actually seen my lepidota scratching a few weeks back I added salt and bumped up the W/C's and haven't had any issues.

Have you added any fish recently? When you say "regular water changes," how often/what percentage/what tank size?

Regularly flashing off items in the tank could be an irritant in the water (something in the source water, the presence of ammonia/nitrite, etc.) or something like flukes or external protozoa/parasites.

180g with 75% biweekly. Pre treated water with Prime. Lepidota is in my tank for lng time. And as I said tank is in pretty stable condition. I took out Jag and JD recently .
