not saying you are under filtered. but 2 AC110 do the mech filtration and re-leaving the load for the canisters. Hob lot easier to clean than breaking down your canisters every other week.

The tank is coming together nicely. Given the size, I'm curious why/who talked you out of a sump if you were up for one :). Are you planning to wrap the stand with any wood paneling / doors?

I think it was being freshwater and they told me sump were noisy and being tank is in main room it has to be quiet. I never had a sump so going on others knowledge. I hope I dont regret it now.

Didn't mean to introduce any doubt, I was really asking out of curiosity for the reasoning. Stick to your game plan :)

FWIW, there are many folks that do have sumps and doesn't have to be noisy at all. I have my tank sitting between the living room and dining room, and I'd say it's fairly silent (using "herbie" drain/overflow). It can be done. I will say that the external pump I have connected with PVC for my closed loop circulation makes the most sound - a low, constant humming through the pipes.

I hope it works out. If not I will take the loss on the canisters and go with the sump. I had the tank built and I wish I would have had it drilled just in case. We will see lessons learned as we go. My last tank was 120 gallon and 20 years ago sooo much new technology now.
