A little update, pic was probably a month ago. Added some SA cichlids since.
Had an algae outbreak, but tuned the lights for shorter run times and algae is slowly going away, almost gone now.
all the plants are mostly doing well, spreading many new shoots. Was about to order more too.

I'm fan of anubias so here is my tank mostly anubias and some java fern and water wisteria.
Here's an oldie that's been redone. I had my 20L set up as a planted tank awhile ago, then broke it down when I moved the planted to a 40B. Then I had a 37T that the plants weren't doing much of anything in, so I moved them into the 20L. My Cryptos mostly melted away, but they looks like a couple of them might bounce back.
^^^I love the ideal but if you don't careful monitor the moisture that wood log hang on top of the tank then it would become a mold factory, keep us posted
