Finally got my hands on some got 22 growing out in a 30 for now going to split them into 2 groups here's some pics of them on there first day home and there parents I'll start there growout thread here I'm super excited to find these fish just need another specimen eventually for diffrent lineage

those parents look awesome. are their eyes always so red or just when breeding?

I think there always like that once there of size from the pics I've seen these are my first ones I owned I don't own the parents

I have a male and female. My male has that coloration, but my female is darker.
it might be because female is in black background tank?
those are beautiful fish, I'm sure your growouts will look like the parent soon

got them from a local forum memeber not sure if your on here brian but his pair would be F2 from Don Conkel so mine F3 if there's a thing he tracked them down as best as he could

Update there very very mean to each other number dropped drastically from aggression I moved them from a 30 gallon to my corner 70 gallon and they seem to get along better threw in some guppys for them to chase around instead of each other here's a pic of them before I moved them a little bigger than a inch
