I'm Where I'm At
your parents were either too hard on you or too soft on you growing up

that's my speculation

aaaahhhhh, now that makes things a little more clear

you remind me of someone I know. wasn't raised by grandparents but by an aunt and uncle

when he went back to live with his parents in his teens he never got along with his parents and left on several occasions after bad fights until eventually he moved out for good with a girlfriend

they would argue about his life choices and I think a part of him, although denied it, just wanted to go against his parents just to spite them.

I know this is easier said than done; but get your own place and buy another tank and stock it, or maybe you can get your mom to let you take your tank. You can contact the police and they will escort you to your mothers to get your tank and make sure she doesn't hit you over the head with a frying pan.

Is your mom married or has a live-in boyfriend?

You do have one positive: your Girlfriend :)

I'm not doing it out of spite. I just couldn't take living there any more. My mother does have a live in boyfriend. Well she moved in with him. And they are letting me get my tank next week to give everyone time to cool off. I'm going to stock t with a green terror or a Texas. Not sure yet. But the girlfriend and I are looking for apartments in pa

Don't even waste your time dude. If they'd cut the power to your room over an argument, you're just setting yourself up for failure again. Get somewhere stable, then maybe you can think about a tank again.

Hello; Hope you find a place and a way to make a living. I was out of my parents house at 18 with only brief visits from then on. I did without a tank for a few brief peroids, but usually had at least one small 10 gallon tank. For a number of years everything I owned would fit in a 1957 Pontiac Star Chief.

Good luck
