I thought I was the only one.... and I thought it was weird I kept rats in my freezer for the snakes. You guys really freeze your dead fish with no plans for them? This baffles me
I don't feel that weird because you have a purpose. What's the purpose for dead fish?I thought I was the only one.... and I thought it was weird I kept rats in my freezer for the snakes.
I can't speak for others but I have done it with fish that looked impressive enough that I wanted to have preserved somehow.I have done it before and had a fish taxidermied but I will probably never do it again.I don't feel that weird because you have a purpose. What's the purpose for dead fish?
I usually freeze fish when I need to provide evidence that the fish died for the two week gaurentee or if its negative thirty with a foot of snow on the ground. Sadly they usually end up on the bottom of the pile after a while and I forget them until I really don't like any of the options digging through the freezer.I don't feel that weird because you have a purpose. Why don't you do it yourself with baking soda?I can't speak for others but I have done it with fish that looked impressive enough that I wanted to have preserved somehow.I have done it before and had a fish taxidermied but I will probably never do it again.
I have heard of that but never thought to try it myself....farthest I have gone was to let bugs eat away the flesh so I could keep the skeleton. Why don't you do it yourself with baking soda?
I can't get away with this.I thought I was the only one.... and I thought it was weird I kept rats in my freezer for the snakes.
It's been done quite often in my piranha section over the year. This is the one I like the bestI have heard of that but never thought to try it myself....farthest I have gone was to let bugs eat away the flesh so I could keep the skeleton.
