I used to have a Chow chow some years ago now called Sam, he was a fantastic pet but talk about stubborn..lol! aloof with strangers but loved his family, me in particular.

Chow chow are stunning dogs the people across the rd from my parents had one years ago that I was scared stiff of as a kid "the lion dog" was massive compared to me lol
There's one just moved in round the corner from me atm swift keeps trying to mount it
So I guess chow's are just as stubborn and hard to train as pei's then Richard , must be something about Chinese dogs lol

I wouldn't go that far lol he gets his fair share of tellings off dont be fooled by the cute winkles and puppy eyes he's always on guard and growls at anyone coming over the doorstep untill I tell him to chill
