Sad news.
Yesterday i had to seperate them.
My Aro has pinned him in the corner and they fought very hard.
The Dat has no chance against the aros teeth.
I will have to sell the dat now.
Normaly the aro would have to leave because he is the bad guy, but i love him.
He dont want to share his tank with the dat i have to accept this.
This was the second time i tryed to comm big dats with aros.
The first time was a big dat with a black aro. (in this case the dat was the problem)
Both times it fails so no more dats with aros for me.

The problem with peacock bass is that they get really huge and love to swimm a lot.
I am not sure if i have enough space for them.

You are right, arowanas get big.
But i cant have so many big fishes in my tank.
My tank is 3 meter x 0,80 meter x 0,60 meter
Should be between 300 and 400 gallons.
I am not good in inches and gallons.

You should be good with the arow, have you thought about bottom dwellers? Like catfish? Anytging 12" and above would be fine.

I have 3 L600 Plecos and one fire eel at the bottom.
Maybe i will get a polypterus or another eel.
I try to get a stock that i can keep the long term.
They have to get along and should not get to big.
The dat is already sold and now in a big tank with two asian arowanas and leopoldis.
The aros only have eyes for each other not for the dats.
For now i am pleased with my current stock.

I said, the new owner of the dat is keeping to asian aros together.
One red and one golden, the red is the boss and the golden gets beaten up.
They are fighting often and have no time to care for the dats.
He said he will sell the golden soon.
My aro is a crossback golden.
