ill fire eel! please help...

I just fed everybody and when I found the fire eel hiding in a stump he was looking like he was dead. I tried to grab him but he flipped out and swam off, but then went right back to just kinda floating around somewhat curled up and looked like he was try to dig in the gravel..
I'm uploading a short video of him to youtube and will post it very soon. I took him out and put him in a different tank just so he wouldn't get get nipped at.
Any hope for him? What should I do? Thank you so much....

Well it's not showing up on YouTube either
..
He is just in a half curl, head and tail on the ground and his body in the air/water like a half circle....
I'm pretty sure there's nothing we can do at this point. ..
I liked him alot...
I never got to see him eat.
He spent most of his time under the stumps and would come out and make a trip around the tank then go back into hiding with the ghost knife, I never saw anyone else attemp to pick on bim either.
I would stick tubiflex worm cubes up in there so he could eat.
He would poke his head out and I could put my hand next to him and he would come right up to my finger as if looking for food but never did take a bite...
