gulper catfish

anyone kept themse with other fish? wold you say in the aquaria they are the fish that can probably eat the largest prey compared to size?


I know deep water species in the ocean can eat fish double their size like the black swallower but in aquaria would you say the gulper catfish is the ultimate predator eating fish its own size?
or a bit bigger?

I NEVER see them in stores ever! Ive seen electric catfish not them.

can any other common aquaria fish compare to their gluttony ? lol I find them cute and interesting. BUt would not risk it.

Any ive seen, tend to swim in the one spot; gobble something, then do that basically forever.
