Yeah I was wanting an Asian myself but with being on a budget with misus and kid, opted for a less expensive and more available silver, he was very skittish in his grow out tank and not a great feeder, now he's the boss, comes to the front of the tank and interacts with us and eats anything now lol beautiful colouration and extremely elegant with it. I was very nervous about my capabilities of keeping such a fish but its being well worth it.

All the hard work pays off in the end , its just a case of making sure you can handle the amount of work involved and fund it all I suppose , I too am always on limited funds for fishkeeping having kids too.
Some of these guys on here support familys and personal blue planet aquariums ;):D they must throw some major money at the hobby

Ha-ha yeah it certainly felt a little daunting at first coming on here but its excellent. Everyone's opinion's are absorbed and I did at least 12 months of research before I bought the arro, so glad I did though, I was always stressing until he was out of the small fish phase, he's behaving like a big fish now

my 24" 6yr old jardini I had first and lost , he was one of the most colourful jardini I've ever seen and very tame , evil little tw@ though killed loads of tankmates
