A mine dam burst, resulting in flooding and release of arsenic and mercury into the river. People were killed, and it appears that all the fish died. The first video tugs at my heart. Some people think it is cruel to keep fish in glass and acrylic cages, and that fish are better off in their "natural" environments. Watching the video, those could easily have been my fish being pulled out of the river. Makes me want to give my fish a hug and a kiss and tell them how special they are to us. Since they would not appreciate that, guess I'll go feed them and do a water change instead.

Well, seeing the size of those fish I'd say they are better off in their natural environment then a glass/acrylic box. You're an exception not the norm as you have giant fish in giant tanks.

Sad video though
