Hello everyone! I'm a tropical fish/betta keeper for the most part. I enjoy densely planted tanks and long finned fish. I am waiting for permission to get a large tank for some bichir and ropefish! I have a tropical community in a 20gal, a heavily planted 10gal with some shrimp and a marbled delta tail betta, and two smaller tanks with a male twintail betta and a female crowntail betta.
I live in the central United States and hard water is the worst challenge to get under control here, geez. Water comes out of the faucet so high it can't be read by the test kits. I can only imagine trying to care for delicate discus here without an intense set up.
So, how is everyone doing? Got anything cool?
