You should be able to catch them through the ice right now in MN!
Buddy's broinlaw just got one off mille. I have not been able to connect. One of the few fish I have not caught. I got an American eel a few years ago.

Since when I worked at a walleye hatchery and home raised some walleyes. They will be fine in 70's and lot of the walleyes are thriving in warm water lakes
if you say so, I always thought they required colder water temps.

Eyes are fairly adaptable fish. The population in the Allegheny River thrives in heavy current with water temps in the high 70's or occasionally low 80's while the population in Lake Erie is found in places with very little current and a water temp of around 62-72° if it is available at the time.

Was down at the pond yesterday pulled out a few big channels, the mirror carp, the pic of the little one is him when I put him in, a few little sauger and one little walleye, one of my 3 shovelnose, just to make you jealous. They to post a video of the ling I caught.

I live in an extremely cold environment. The pond I have in my basement stays at 56 degrees in the winter and just over 60 in the summer. I would totally buy a couple off you. They would do great in my indoor pond.
