Good news the one that wasnt eating finally ate some beef heart. The other one gorged himself. I never fed beef heart before to any of my fish. I was always under the assumption that it wasnt good for fish.

So how long do i keep feeding them the BH ?
Also when should i start forcing nothing but pellets as both still wont touch them

I have only fed beef heart in early stages to get some size and weight on a fish. Seems to do the trick.

Ok im still reluctant but will keep them in qt until they are eating pellets and continue the BH and flounder.

Should have gotten the larger ones they were about 5 or 6 inches but beefy.y son wanted the smaller size

I would try and start feeding other things now. Use beef heart as a fall back option if you get into a situation where they haven't eaten anything offered in a while.

Good to hear they're eating. Usually from here it only gets easier since you found at least one thing they'll accept.

Ornate was butt sniffing like a dog...smh

So lastnight ontop of moving into the new place i switched the sand from pfs to red flint sand. Its not as nice as the garnet you guys have in your tanks but i really like it better than the pfs its kind of aaroonish color. The fish arent settled in yet but i hope they improve. The del didnt deal with the moves well at all turned almost completly white at first. Looks to be getting some of its color back. The water is still really cloudy and the lights were causing a weird glow. I'll get anotuer vid in a few days when it clears up

The endlis are gonna stay in qt for a while. Then grow out in the 75 with heterospilus and sen.

I have an ornate 12 inch solid. Never and I mean never I have seen him eating anything but alive and thriving. I am thinking of getting her a female so he can put himself to some use.

Thats odd my ornate eats everything in sight. Even eats uneaten spirulina flakes....why is it all my fish are fat bast $rds
