Shoft Shell Turtle and fish???

my big cats, aros, gar, and pacu fair pretty well with the 16"-18" ferox and plenty room of course.... i understand the risk but its not like i have a Trionyx Triunguis :) ... although id like to get one..

been eyeing one on kingsnake for quite some time now lol... then yes i agree, missing limbs is highly plausible.

lol i know right... that cat could b cut in half. Theres more than one cat/nile softshell pic that pops up on a google search. odd i agree.

oh, I thought that was the "cat" you referred to in your earlier post lol. I guess you meant catFISH
haha... nope... just the madness found on google... i wouldnt subject my cat to a nile softshell... heres some pics of my florida softshell and catFISH tho. Tank with window is a 1400 gal and the last 2 pics are a 10' diamater pool.

Turtle was a rescue from a lfs 20gal... owner told me if i could pick it up bare handed it was mine for free... was only around 8-10" at the time so i took it lol... been with me 7 yrs now.

Is that a platinum channel in the last pic or am I just not seeing red?

Thanks man! always appreciated!... just an albino channel catfish. single handedly the fish that got me into the "monster" part of the hobby... my personal favorite...$2.99 lol... been keeping them for over 15yrs now :). my albino wels was a comemeration fish for the albino channel in my avatar i had for 8 yrs. its about the simple things in fish life... not always whats expensive or trendy... sorry for the dereail everyone haha...

Sure if you plan on upgrading the florida softshell to a 300+ gallon in the future as they get pretty big and dont mind possibly losing a fish or two... id recommend maybe a small musk/mud turtle species for ur 75 gallon. Sounds like its already pretty stocked tho...ur clown knife alone will outgrow the tank. I say upgrade the tank and fish u have and research a turtle/setup appropriate for ur 75 gallon. Theres alot of info on faunaclassifieds that could be helpful.
