Hello everyone and Happy New year! This is footage from last year of a huge Labeo Shark looks easy over 24". At first i thought it was a pacu! I was there filming a nice peacock bass and came across this..

At the end of the vid you can see it lift it's tail. What happen just then it took a poop haha. It actually somehow sensed when i turned off the record button "wanted to take pictures" but instead it spooked really bad! pooped and took off full speed into the unknown..not seen it since. "thumbnail pic"shark.png I never htad any other fish spook when hitting the record button, really strange it picked up on that,i was basically motion less so it not me that spooked it!

I've had one some 7 years ago. Grew it to ~5". Very slow. Lost it.

Last Aug I bought three 1.5"-2". Today one is 5", one is 4", one is 3". Very clear difference.

They live with a ~16" Labeo cyclorhynchus or barbatulus (calico shark) or something similar and two plecos, 6" and ~16". The Labeo don't bother each other. But the big Labeo, named "Terroristka", regularly picks fights with the big pleco. Ignores the small one.

Labeo are nasty, nasty fish http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=41670&hilit=skinned

Nice labeo, looks like the rubropunctatus that I had a few years back. My black shark did not get on with it at all. Considering she is 24" total length, the punctuates knew how to beat on her (being smaller and more agile).
