Every snakehead I own/owned readily eats pellets or anything else that hits the water for that matter lol. Even my fry take .5 mm sinkers as one of their first meals . If a snakeheads being picky it's typically because it's being over fed.

Good call on getting him off live feeders , everyone's heard the old " feeders could carry disease " warnings but it's especially riskey with subtropical channa because they really don't do well in with heat, salt or meds so even simple things like ich can be difficult to treat.

Ya which was the main reason why I want to get mine off, my andraos eat frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp and the fry eat tetra color pellets
