When I was 16 I re-homed my female JD as she was super aggressive, seen her 2-3 years later in the LFS, and she was huge and thick; it took every fibre of my being not to buy her back at the time!
They kept her all that time?

He must be old. Good find.
you're right on with that....I guessed between 3 and 8, but I don't have a lot to go off of. I sold my JDs when they hit the 10"-mark, but like my Jags, they never got a chance to fill-out afterwards but they were all about 3-3.5 yrs and male and female alike were in 9-10", so that thing has to be at least 4, IMO....mine NEVER got that much of hump...it was just little domes, nothing like this monster. He probably weighs twice what any of my 6 did at anytime

Thoughts?

Nice fish dude, rescued a monster. These big old guys need good homes with mfk members.

Nope, someone had bought and kept her years before; then traded his entire stock in, as she came in with a large male JD, and two huge blood parrots, 2 Oscars as well.

Apparently the guy had them all in a 75, which I was incredulous about
