He eats maybe a few sticks a day, no shrimp or any pellets except sinking carnivore pellets which is all he will eat somewhat consistently. Its early to be a real problem, i know... But he eats less than the male convicts does , which is not what i expect.

I did run out of sticks though. So know he doesnt have much to eat, as he misses a lot of the carnivore pellets. Also tried earthworms, nightcrawlers, sinking/floating cichlid pellets, frozen beefheart, frozen brine shrimp, and tropical flakes. If he doesnt eat it i just send it over to the convict tank, and it all gets eaten there.

Should i just stop feeding for a couple days and then try again? Or should i keep trying? And suggestion?

He eats a bit, and im not that worried as of now. But his stomach is a little hollow, and he always is up at the corner where i feed him he just doesnt actualy eat the food very well... Help if you can thanks :)

Maybe he is unwell? I tend to not eat much if I'm poorly!-)
Also is he totally settled in, I've had fish more or less starve themselves for a few weeks when first bought.

Give him a couple daya without food if you haven't tried that. 2 full days at least, I'm assuming he's smaller?

He is 11 inches long. Had him a week or so? I forgot already lol but it has not been long. He might not be settled in though. He is alone in the tanks.

Can take them a few weeks before they start eating, I wouldn't worry about it yet, at that size it will take them a few months before he is fully settled down, older the fish the longer it takes.
