Just wanted to know if they are similar to them since they almost look the same or are they more aggressive like the rhombeus?

Pirayas can be much more aggressive but it also comes down to the individual fish. There are timid piraya out there. Just keep in mind they get much larger than red bellies so you need a 180g minimum for 1 fish and they get hith very easily.

Great advice. I've always wanted to get piraya but lack the tank size.
Do they have the same growth rate as natts?

They grow extremely fast. One person local team bought at like 3-4in and it was over 12in in about 2 years I think. They grow very fast but do slow down. To give you an idea, there is one member on pkeepers that has a 800g tank with eight piraya. I don't think he has had them that long. The smallest was 15in and the largest 20in. The piraya made the tank look small.

So they have the same growth rate as Natts.
Natts are typically 1 inch/month for 6 months or so then 1 inch per year after that.
Makes sense
