Favorite Lungfish?

Ok Lungfish keepers, I've been doing research on these awesome fish and the more I learn the more psyched I am to get one in the not-so-distant future. Only problem is I can't decide which one I want. So what's everyone's favorite? No limit on size, tank, tankmates or no tankmates.

I think AUL will be the pinnacle here
Hard to find and easy going compared to the African species. Hard to find and the prettiest of lungfish imo.

Yeah they're definitely beautiful. Have you kept them with other fish?

I haven't kept them, certainly on my bucket list.

fortunately I do. I'm growing out some big cats right now and when they end up in the 1500+ gal tank My plan is to have a lungfish in one of their old tanks. Nice to have a whole basement to play with

Seems like Australian is the hands down winner so far. good to know

i was in same situation, so i bought both.
wal and sal, aus is too pricey, but if i could have just one and money wasn't an object, that would be the obvious choice

But seriously AUL was my choice due to its compatibility with tank mates.

A close second will be those albino ones that rarely comes up.

the aussie ones are very hard to get without doing a group order in the u.s
