So I got some new unlabeled pbass and the store told me they were using frozen bloodworms to feed them. I have three of them in a 55 gallon growout with the stock aqueon filter, an air pump and stone and a powerhead going. Temp is at 86 degrees.

I am feeding them dried blood worms. Are the frozen ones better for them and do yiu recommend feeding something else at this stage? They are about 1 - 1.5" long.

Im a big fan of compost worms and you can select smaller sizes for these fish but they provide a much better nutrient profile IMO

Yep, they are pretty easy to culture and packed with protein. I feed my worms mostly ponds plants but other scraps from the kitchen too. You maybe able to find someone locally to sell you a bag at a modest price, considering the amount of food they provide. My friend has been raising African Nightcrawlers and they are huge but do act as compost worms, he raises them for the castings primarily
