Here are my two Wild Columbian Oscars that I'm trying to get rid of at the moment. They are currently in a 330 gallon with some eartheaters.

greenerinks greenerinks do you know the catch locations of the oscars you posted? Would be cool know where these awesome variants come from. :)

I had the Bahia red tail f1's. I love wild oscars!

I'm not exactly sure where they are collected, the different patterns are just named in different variations of the sp available. There are at least a dozen of them. Also saw a natural short body WC Oscar as well.

Many of the color variants, and short body types are not wild caught, but are in truth, line bred aquarium strains.
Terminology is important, there are different wild species, but don't confuse different aquarium color strains, with different species.
