My House!
I've been meaning to post these for ages, but these are the black birds with white beaks I was talking about (and some ducks, and a goose):

The goose was chasing the little black one in the second picture, the little one was making little "help me!" calls coz he was crappin' 'em.

And this little thing, I don't know what she (?) is but she took my fancy, absolutely beautiful:

She kind of looked like a duck but not really like a duck..

There were also native hens on the other side of the pond but my phone isn't good enough to capture them. As it is it looks like the birds are ages away in the photos but they weren't, the farthest ones were not even 3.5-4mtrs away from us.

The black birds with white beaks are mud hens, not sure what the duck is, we have mud hens in the United States too, they eat aquatic plants

Some pics I took this evening...

A nesting swan, I didn't want to get to close to her (?) and disturb her (?) so they're not the best pics, but you can see her (?) and the nest well enough.

And a pied oystercatcher that was near the nest, but not close enough to worry the swan:

The swallows should be back soon, then I can get some pics of those gutsy little buggers - if they don't take my ears off first! :D
