All serras are 50/50....but id say elongs have more of a risl bc they tend to be one of the psychopaths of piranhas lol ...but of course depends on the individual fish

Don't rhoms tend to trash plants as well?
I think they will benefit from plants, given their shy nature when small and it will also help keep the water clean

i always wanted a elong but havent had the chance to own this psycho yet
unfortunately which makes me sad :( but when i do finally get my hands on
one i will setup a planted tank and let you guys know how it works out! lol : D

Yep, more plants will make them hide more but it will eventually come out of it shell and become bolder, it will take longer time to be bold compare to an decor less setup.

Could always go either way, more plants may just make them hide more
It lets them go through their ambush hunter phase with less stress apparently. They will eventually come out either way

Nope some end up hiding their whole lives..... majority of piranhas will stay shy.....they arent as bold as most people think
