How big do these get? Thinking of doing a special octopus project tank

I've kept a few octopus species over the years and they are very interesting pets...but I don't recall caring for a Pacific brown.

I'm not sure what exactly the substance is known as,I just didn't dare touching mine when I had one years ago.I've seen footage of people finding them in tidepools and whatnot and actually getting them into the palms of their hands!

.....cure?....heck I was under the impression that death is instantaneous after being bitten!
