A young bull, his mom and twin sister must have kicked him out. The 3 have been wandering around this area for a few weeks.
He may well be enjoying the quietest and most peaceful moments of his young life...
Living in a city called Red Deer, I guess a person should expect this. Deer are common, I see them every morning. Moose not so much. On rare occasions, black bears & even cougars have been spotted within the city limits. I prefer deer & moose.
He seems to enjoy your patio, I'd take it as a compliment. Apparently he thought breakfast was included with his stay...
