IDK about the duration of them outgrowing each other. Need other MFK-ers for help. They would do just fine as long as the food is not too big to chew and they're eating. :) IMO,the endli is either waiting when the lights are out or he's just not eating. If he's not eating then it's normal cause...

And some greens in the tank will help too.

Lol,never thought somebody has a problem with having plants cause most of the tanks I saw were fully covered with plants,bog and driftwoods. I really admire those tanks,wish I can have one of those someday. Well,I should be thankful too. Maybe you can try adding some moss to the bog or...

Mine does not dig.It just wags it's tail and 'swish'. All the substrates end up at a corner like what the OP posted. And it ticks me off sometimes cause when he does it some of my plants will float on the surface and I'll have to put em back again.

Had a bristlenose for about ½ a year and never did see him sucking or get close to my delh. Good luck mate! ;)
