a bigger tank is always a better tank for bichirs

just not fishes that might fit in the bichirs mouth

i dont think you need a heater in the phillipines, the weather there is suitable for bichirs. heaters is needed for places that get really cold. if i am anywhere wrong please correct me.

did you added the new poly instantly without first putting the bag into the tank?

I dont recommend any plecos with bichirs, not even bristlenose or common pleco. i use to house a 7inch pleco with my bichir and occasionally white patches were seen on my bichirs. didnt want to take any chances and removed the pleco.
