    Video of Jardini and Friends

These guys grow pretty fast so I thought I better get a video before he gets to be a full grown adult. The pike was much bigger than him a couple of months ago and bullied him a little at feeding time, now they eat and even play together. Hopefully it will last. gjzABpGSnn8

    Few Pics of the Festae

The female is somewhat aggressive towards the other fish in the tank...but not all the time. The male completely ignores the other fish in the tank, but he's sometimes aggressive to the female Festae. For the most part, everyone gets along very well.

4 spotted SD's, 2 filament barbs, one flagtail prochilodus. There's also a sveni pike co-habbing in there.

    Few Pics of the Festae

I bred the male from a F0 male & F1 female back in 2007. I rescued the female from my lfs in '09 and she was already about 7" or so...that's her back then in my avatar. I had to take care of her, she was really stressed out and injured badly. I hope you're not just saying that cuz they live...

I did something Selfish and got a Jardini

He's eating NLS 4.5 mm floating pellets as his daily food. He's eaten pretty much everything I've given him actually. I have a question though, Hikari Foodsticks say they're specially formulated for Aro's. Should I give him that instead?

I did something Selfish and got a Jardini

Thanks you guys. For now he gets along great with the Cincta. The pike is much bigger and stronger but ignores him for the most part.

I did something Selfish and got a Jardini

About six weeks ago I traded nine wild morph Snook for an 8" Jardini. The reason I say it's selfish is because my tank is only 265 gallons. Anyway, the Snook just didn't do it for me and I've wanted an Aro for a long time. He's freakin awesome, I luv him LOL.

Wild Morph/Green Snook Tank Update Video

Thanks Pete, that is a female Gymnogeophagus australis who wanted to look like a kamikazee for this video. She's normally quite mellow. All the fish get along fine, even the two pike.

Wild Morph/Green Snook Tank Update Video

I haven't been around for a while but I'm still keeping fish. Just been busy with lots of projects. Here's the 265 gallon Snook Tank. Sorry, I have the worst video cam ever made as far as quality....but try to see thru that and tell me what you think. :) D3l_W55hh4s

What happens if a cichlid is stunted?

The fish's body stops growing at certain point but the organs and innards continue to grow. After some time, this begins to make the fish look distorted and deformed. It will live it's shortened life in pain and misery, then die in agony. It's a shame so many people don't know any better....no...
