Looks good. Just my 2 cents..... get C02, as it will enable you to really grow a dense carpet like monte carlo. Without C02 carpeting plants tend to struggle. Also, get that canister ASAP. HOB filters are awesome and it's great to use them to cycle a tank, but with planted tanks they just tend...

Screws and glue will straighten out all those little warping issues.
