Been a longgg time since i have posted. Pictures are before he destroyed her lol but confirmed movement yesterday! Male is about 11 years old and bred by diggin back in the day , and the female from stingray bio maybe around 6 years old if i remember right.

Looking good Reed! thanks for sharing, i am living thru you with the gatf right now, as i lost mine a few weeks ago. Not sure what happened, was fine one minute and ate the night before, left for an hour or two came back to a gatf getting chewed by the rays. He was just now getting on pellets...

that ray is on the brink of death. get earthworms/nightcrawlers, feed 2-3 times per day as much as he will eat, and maybe you can bulk him up. Like others said, is the tank prepared for the waste of a stingray? are you doing waterchanges regular?

Looking good, how big would you guess he is now? Mine is eating prepared food good (tilapia and other cut fish, but will spit out cichlid gold that i feed the rays mostly. What are you feeding? Ill try to update mine soon

I don’t have anything crazy as far as flow rates. No power heads at all. I don’t think they need it. When I raised him from a smaller size I went crazy on flow rates. He seems much happier now with slower flows. Not nearly as skiddish

keep an eye for the gar going after the rays eye during feeding. i have kept florida gar with my rays forever with no issues. occasional accidental bite during feeding but never bothered rays.

Wow sorry I haven’t been on in a few days. Just curious who did it come from? When mine came in sick it spread killing one of my breeders! Sorry to see you lost the ray! Get a quality UV it will definitely give you some piece of mind as well as long as it is sized properly. @kendragon can help...
