dude that fish has to be more than 8 months old flowerhorns dont really start growing after there first year so it has to be over 2 years old bro but thats just my opinion

i have recently had very good luck in breeding my flowerhorns. my question is what qualities should a fry posess to be grown out as a grade A fry?? i have blue dragon fry as well as golden base x tri-thong. any help would be appreciated. :WHOA:

theyre doing well. i separated one to my community tank, and have the others in another tank. at 3 1/2 inches, they are still grey, but taking a nice shape. i want one with a golfball head

i agree. the color comes out in a group. i have 3 jk, 2 red monkey 1 red devil/fh, and 2 fh/escondido in my tank. 3 males, 5 females. now a bunch of jk fries.

i have one with 8 fh in a 150 g. im gonna roll with it til the fish get about 6 inches, then start to thin it out. a lot of spawning goes on with the fish, every week another female lays eggs

i got pics, but dont have a clue how to get them from my phone to the cpu

i usually use parrot females to lay eggs and cross them with fh males to get that short body.

i cant wait for my fortune fish get in. i have 2 short body (parrot/ff). theyre gonna be cool

those pink parrots are the wildest things ive seen! they are no bigger than two inches round and aggressive. the alpha male even has a large nuchal hump. when i figure out how to post pics, im definitely gonna post him. :grinyes:

i got 3 texas/fh and they really look like a zz/dragon with incredible blue-green pearls, i have got to try to learn how to post pics. :confused:

zz is the original strain that the others have been developed from. dragon is just the strain. all dragons are zz.
