Thank you for the reply. I do have multiple UV lights in each pond. I’m thinking I may use two 1000 watt heaters in the filter sump instead of a single 1500 watt. It would also provide a safety net if one of them dies.

I've been searching all over and the best price I found for pot scrubbies is 40 cents each ($9.79 for 24) and $44 for a 5 gallon pail of BioBalls...both through Amazon. Is this a decent price? Related question....does anyone know roughly how many pot scrubbies it takes to fill a 5 gallon...
