Would a 2" bulkhead be large enough to drain 1500 gph into an overflow from a rubbermaid 300? If not is there any advantage of using two 1.5" vs one 2.5" bulk heads? I'm trying to drill as few holes in the rubbermaid as i can. Thank you for your input.

Would this design be better than a 300 gal Rubbermaid stock tank? That would require much less work on my part.

These popped up a few days ago. They are about 2mm long and most of them are just along the top of the waterline. Every now and then I see one swimming around. I asked the local saltwater store what they were but he had no idea so can anyone help to id these?

To those of you who have a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank, what are the dimensions of the inside, bottom of the the tank. I was wanting to get a pond started and this is a very cheap way to do so. Thank you.

I eventually gave up on keeping any tankmates with the jardini in my avatar. He either ate or bashed up any fish I put in there even if it was bigger than him.

I am upgrading my canister to a FX5 and I was wondering if I take all of the media out of my current filter and put it into the new one will there be any kind of cycling issues? It is basically adding 50% more uncultured media to the filter or is there a better way to do this? Thank you.

I think the fish had it when I bought it because i have never used feeders and none of the other fish have ever had them before. How long will it take to get rid of them completely? Is there anything I need to do after all of the medications are through? Thanks for all of the input.

Form reading Kriztu's thread, I believe it is an anchor worm. It is doing exactly what the post said. Just one question, isn't copper bad for arowanas or was is some other metal. I remember reading something about this. Any suggested brands of medications for this? Thank you.
