    Jack Dempsey tank mate?

Was I the only one to notice that the JD and Oscar are living in a 55 gallon tank? If so, that tank is two small for the two of them. A single male JD will share a 55 gallon with pretty much a female, but an Oscar will most likely outgrow the 55 gallon.. I would say a 75 would be so much better...

what else to put in 125 gallon 6' tank?

You could do a simple senegal or delhezi bichir. Both get up to around a foot long if I'm not mistaken. Plus, they can co-exist with you fish. There are also rope fish and leporinus.

    65gal cichlids?

Grammodes and the cuban should be out of the question for pairs. You could do a female festae. The minimal tank size for the female festae and grammodes are about 75 gallons. The cuban, should have more seeing as it gets better than the rest. Firemouth cichlids would do perfectly. You could have...

    2 Oscars in a 40 gallon tank?

I had 2 oscars in a 75 gallon for a few years and it looked cramped simply with the two in there. They were a good 14-16 inches, but it still looked small. If you can, I'd go for as big of a tank you can afford. The 40g Breeder is not as long as a 75 gallon, thus also does not help with...

    55g tank stocking

Calm yourself. First off, Auratus grows faster than a green terror. Green Terrors are slow growers and most likely by the time they reach full grown size, which i would doubt it in that tank. if you like new worlds so much more, than just keep new worlds and don't mix them. Green Terrors don't...

    55g tank stocking

Simply because one day one of the cichlids will snap, and when they do, it'll be war. Green Terrors do not become little push overs once they reach the 8"+ mark. The auratus could easily take the GT out as they'll outgrow them, until the GT's get bigger, but it's simply not recommended you mix...

    55g tank stocking

You should not mix africans and american in a rather small tank, and I wouldn't recommend it even in larger tanks. I would just keep it either a Mbuna or Green Terror. The Green Terror itself will require a 55+ gallons just to itself when full grown.
