i never said needed to be seperated but i am definately suggesting it. it would speed up encourage breeding.

by the way they bred in a 20 gallon.

are the convicts seperated or rare they in a community tank ? in my exp breeding them as soon as i seperated a pair out of a community tank they laid eggs.

well i did notice that the community tank they were born in.the fry i wasn't able to get out are gone

they were in a community tank and moved most of the fry into another tank was wandering if i should put the parents in there as well.

lot's of little tiny babies buggers made me shut down my saltwater tank i was starting to make room for them.

check out the d.i.y section it's fresh water but the sumps are the same

very cool idea but unfortunately vinyl will not hold up to water on a long term basis water will damage it it be really cool if you got a year out of it though.

is there anything you didn't take a picture of ? make sure you didn't miss any. o yeah nice tank deliver straight too my house.

o yeah and as for skittish about the onlt thing that spooks em is when i put my arm in the tank for feeding cleaning etc. but recovers quickly.

update arrows doing great just had too find a diet would take too. loves shrimp cocktail's even saw em scoop some of the bottom. flakes were the first food he would take.

the other fish aren't giving the aro any problems at all i'm just having trouble telling if it's eating. and all the other fish will not be kept together when mature (breeding pairs)

a blueberry arrowana ? blind cave oscars ? ahahahaha that blue is defiantely a silver though and questioning if this was a legitimate deal was was a good idea. i got some blue acara fish that are pretty rare around here i could call them blueberry apple pie fish and sell them for 50.00...
