    GATF with Motoro?

I'm getting a gatf on Friday. The plan was to have a tank just for him but I got rained out today and it looks like its going to continue for a couple days. What do you guys think of putting him with my 5" motoro? The gatf is about 4". The ray tank is a 40 breeder with no other fish. From what...

    Best Method for Catching Rhom

yeah, its net coated with rubber so that spines, hooks, fins, and line dont get tangled or damaged. fly fishing shops have the higher end stuff because catching and releasing fish unharmed is very important to an honorable fisherman.

yeah all the fish and there spots are pretty visible and i observe them alot. once i see behavior indicating eggs ill check with a big magnifying glass and flashlight from the top to make sure then rob them. there's two big brass males, one with a pit the other a pot, and a few faaaaaat females...

    Best Method for Catching Rhom

for big dangerous fish always do what rhom does, or use a fishing net. there are many fishing nets available specifically made for large dangerous fish without getting spines or hooks caught up in it, and without hurting the fish. a good 18" reinforced rubber net will run you around 30 bucks...

not sure what kind they were. they were never in good enough condition to be id'd. they had jacked up jaws with only a few teeth left, missing fins, gashes, and velvet usually somewhere. i always assumed they were rbps though. cool i love ps too. i have a 300 gal rb pond that im hoping will...

yeah that place is shifty. i use to work there, nice people, surprisingly knowledgeable, but expensive and many tanks are in terrible condition. but many are in good condition as well. but the piranha tank with 3, 12" fish in a 40 tall, is not. i always stop in as well when im around but rarely...

    Fahaka Environment Questions

in my experience fahakas are very hardy, but an ounce of prevention is worth two pounds of cure. keep it warm, keep it clean, no sharp edges, no air(if he blows up with air he can get it stuck sometimes). sounds like youre dedicated, good luck :)
