I unplug it yes. Not really sure why i close the valves, maybe just used to cleaning the filter out.. Either way, i dont think that makes anything different, and I still cannot figure out the reason for the flowing river sound (filter purges when necessary, and it's a completely different sound)

Looks like a bi color to me

Fun fish. I have one along with an albino one, and they're constantly on the move. They've got big appetites, enjoy a little veggies from time to time, and don't bother with anything else in the tank besides eachother.

I figured the females stayed ugly grey, just not sure on these. Thanks

My sunshine is about 2.5 inches or so, and recently got some bright yellow patching on its sides. Do the females get this coloring? I am not seeing any blue at all, and my other species of peacock males all had their blues showing at this size. Thanks.
