Looks like Pop Eye to me...at least if it were salt water it would be. Treat it fast and keep up the water changes. I have seen salt water fishes with that and if they aren't treated properly the eye actually pops causing the fish to go blind on one side. Good luck!

Do you have sump? Why not just buy some micron filter pads or socks for you sump? They do a great job and are reusable. I have a 50 micro filter pad in my sump. My water is clear of particles. Only down side is you have to clean is every week or two as they can clog. No biggie though.

I was also looking for some of those but I couldn't afford the 40 dollar price. I bought Azoo Arowana Sticks instead and my arowanas are munching happily on those. I wonder if there is any difference between the two brands.

Just looked at your first post. You said your nitrate is 0...did you test your nitrite? It is impossible to have a nitrate of 0 so maybe you had a high nitrite build up without any bacteria to break it down to nitrate?

Two Arowanas in a tank? Might be the silver arowana attacking the Jardini? Two arowana is generally a bad idea. It doesn't look like rotting to me but i'm no expert. Have you tried Melafix? That tends to work pretty well.
